Well, not much to say here. My kidneys are okay (in case anyone read my last journal), but I can't take any NSAIDs for the rest of my life and I might need to regulate my sodium and potassium intake for a long while as well...

Anyway, I'm taking four art classes at my community college, so I'll be posting the completed assignments that I like on here soon.

Thanks for 4000 hits!

Guwah!

My life has taken an interesting turn. I am still having unsolved medical issues – related to my kidneys, I guess – which is a bit stressful. I have also been working full-time with the occasional Saturday a lot more than usual. While I am not in school right now, I still have trouble finding time to do very much more than eat and sleep (which I haven't been doing very well); I hadn't been able to really pin-down where all my time was going until recently.

Last month, if someone was to ask me: "What is your ambition in life?" I would have replied with something along the lines of: "To be a great artist", or "To preach the gospel to the world", but more and more I find that that my true ambition in life is to do nothing.
So I need to seriously start making decisions for what I need to be doing to achieve the goals that I really do want to have. These mostly involve me becoming more active – both mentally and physically.

Normally, I would say something about "posting more" or "big projects", but really I just need to start exercising and using my brain in a more productive way. I may post something here once in a while, but I can't make any guarantees. However, if I do post, it will be worthwhile.

Due to being very sick for 2 weeks and then working and going to school full time (60 hours a week) for the past 3 weeks, I don't think I will be able to finish my *Ebon-Spire-OCT audition. I still don't know what is happening in my body; it's probably not serious, but I have to have more tests done during the next month just to make sure I'm okay.

Hopefully I will be able to get into the OCT scene in the future, but for now I'll try to get back to work on 'God's Grey Earth' and maybe do some art of an old character I've had sitting on the back-burner for a long time.

Anyway, thanks for 3000 hits!

EDIT: Crud I almost forgot...

First 14 to comment on this journal, requesting a slot, will get 3 pieces from their gallery featured by me. I will choose the pieces I like best.
In return, those Deviants featured will have to create their own Feature Journal, placing me in the first slot; leading to a total of 15 Featured Deviants.

I joined an "Original Character Tournament" :iconescapefromnevara:
Started a potential EPIC project with

And, if I don't make it through the EfN auditions, am going to start work on "God's Grey Earth", my long planned graphic novel project.

It should be a busy few months for me, as I look forward to several challenges and journeys (both metaphorical and literal) throughout the next year.

Oh, and thanks for 2000 hits!
